Post-Publication Discussion

Post-Publication Discussion

ALAMTARA provides an opportunity for readers, authors, practitioners, and the academic community to submit responses, questions, and feedback on published scientific articles. This post-publication discussion aims to expand scientific discourse, test the robustness of findings, and support the continuous improvement of the quality, integrity, and sustainability of academic literature.

Purpose of Post-Publication Discussion

Post-publication discussion serves as a medium for academic dialectics to provide clarification, share perspectives, and deliver critical evaluations of published articles. This discussion may cover methodological aspects, data analysis, interpretation of research results, theoretical relevance, as well as the novelty and impact of the findings.

Scope of Responses

Responses to published articles may address the following:

  • Methodology and Data Clarification: Questions or explanations regarding the research design, data collection techniques, analytical procedures, and research limitations.
  • Evaluation of Findings: Analytical feedback on the validity of conclusions, interpretation of results, and their alignment with existing literature or theories.
  • Correction of Factual Information: Notification of potential data errors, misquotations, or discrepancies in the reported results.
  • Research Development: Exchange of ideas regarding opportunities for further research, study replication, or the application of findings in different contexts of social and communication sciences.

Procedure for Submitting Responses

Readers wishing to submit a response can contact the editorial team of ALAMTARA via email or the journal's official contact. The response letter (Letter to the Editor) must include the title of the discussed article, the original author's name, the volume and issue number, and a clear, concise outline of the arguments. References or supporting data must be included to strengthen the academic arguments presented.

Review and Follow-up

The editorial team will assess the relevance, quality of the arguments, and compliance with publication ethics. If it meets academic criteria, the editor reserves the right to forward the response to the original authors to provide them with the right of reply.

Follow-up actions from this discussion may include the publication of a reader's letter, publication of corrections (Erratum/Corrigendum), or, if severe indications of publication ethics violations are found, actions following the retraction policies of ALAMTARA.

Discussion Ethics

All responses must be delivered in professional, objective language and grounded in scientific evidence. Discussions must not contain personal attacks (ad hominem), discrimination, baseless accusations, or defamation. All involved parties are expected to uphold academic ethics and respect the credibility of fellow researchers.

Journal Commitment

ALAMTARA is committed to encouraging healthy and constructive scientific discourse post-publication. We ensure that every response will be handled fairly, transparently, and proportionally to maintain the integrity of the academic record.
